We went to LA yesterday to see a small but very nice Deborah Butterfield show. My favorite work was Cyan, a smaller than life-size work. What made it even better was that it was displayed in the Gallery's open-to-the-sky exhibit space, and the light streaming down on the sculpture was beautiful. Looking up into the bright blue Venice sky was gorgeous as well.
